Looking for information on James CANTRELL (b. abt. 1860). James (Jim) married
Mary E. FRIDAY (b.May, 1859) in March of 1886 (Itawamba County,
Miss.). They had two children: Cora A. b. Jan., 1887 and
James (Juddy) b. Oct.04, 1888. Warren tried to connect
him with Ellesbury CANTRELL (Ga>Ala). The reason being my James had either
died or run off by 1890 (depending on which relative you talk to).
Ellesbury's son (James E. b. May 03, 1860 Ga.) was given money and a horse to
ride into town (Cherokee Co., Ala.) for supplies. He never came back. This
happened in 1881, about the time James shows up in Mississippi. His family
thought him to be dead. Warren found a James E. in Savannah, Ga. (1900
Census). Could this be my James???? In
the Cemetery where he is said to be buried, I couldn't find him. I did find
two graves of T. B. CANTRELL and Rea CANTRELL (old stones markers, no dates).
Help! Will " work" for found relatives!!! KYHORNE(a)aol.com Gary
