Dear cousins,
I will be off the air for a few days as I make a trip to MO to bury a dearly
beloved brother, Jack would have been 65 years old in Aug. Jack was born in
the middle of the depression and after graduating from HS, he joined the
Marines and served his country very well. He dearly loved his Marines. He
served four tours in Vietnam and was wounded five times. He retired as a 1st
Sgt after 25 years of service. As a retired career serviceman he was very
close to my heart. due to our military careers. He is survived by 8 brothers
and sisters, three children and two grandchildren. and numerous nephews and
nieces and 1st cousins. He will be buried by our grandfather Cantrell who
he looked so much alike. After his retirement from the Marines he served in
law inforcement as Chief of Detectives of county of Cass co. MO. He did not
die from a bullet but from an insidous brain cancer, He departed this life at
915 PM 5 March at the VA Hospital in KC MO. Services will be at Dickey
Funeral Home in Garden City, MO on tuesday next.
To those cousins who are waiting for answers to their E-mails, please bear
with me for a few days.
