This is said to be my line.
Richard Simpson, called Jr., in Fairfax Co., VA colonial records, was
married to Mary Kincheloe, but she is believed to have had a previous husband.
They removed to Orange Co., NC in the 1750s, along with some of the kinsmen,
the part which later became Caswell Co. NC.
A lot of this lineage is fuzzy in my mind, as 1) the computer on which my
genealogy may be lost is down and 2) severe illness in the family this past
year has prevented me from doing much on this line.
I have bits and pieces, but NOT a lot of documentation presently.
How is your documentation?
I am told by a correspondent that he has presented the Family History
Library in Salt Lake City with material on Roger Williams and Joan [no proof her
name is Frith]. I have not checked on this lately.
