Hi everyone,
Just a note to let all know about this page with info on the Eastern Shore of
MD and DE Cannon's:

Hello Cousin,
I haven't quite figured out which yet, but we're DISTANTLY related.
"Nanticoke" James Cannon was my 9G Grandfather. I just wanted to tell you
how incredibly, wonderfully useful and enjoyable my visit was to your
website. A fine job.
You mentioned that you had published a manuscript on your site. Is it for
sale? I would very much like to purchase a copy. Also I would be very
interested in any related material you have for the Wilsons, Fishers,
Newtons, and especially Browns, Pritchetts, Dawsons and Willises (and more
than willing to pay for copying, postage, time, etc.). Living in Cincinnati
makes research on the Eastern Shore a chore and information on these last
four families is rather scarce in the places I've been able to look.
I would be happy to send you a rundown on my lineage if you would be
interested. I've been compiling a kind of Dorcester County "family" file,
since most people ended up marrying into one anothers families at some
point.
Warmest regards,
Skip Martin
