Am not sure this is the Cannon Compulation described
above, but a Goggle search indicates there's a
document called "A Cannon Compilation" that appears to
be in the Library of Congress (at least it has a LoC
call sign assigned). It also appears that there is a
copy in the Nabb Library in MD.

Have no first hand knowledge about the actual document
or the extent of it's Cannon genealogy.

Looking for predecessors to Edward Cannon who was in
La Salle county IL in mid-1800s, married a Manville
there, and subsequently emigrated to NV and CA mining
areas shortly after the Gold Rush.
