Hi Debbie,
We had the second participant sign up today. I still have to get someone
from my own family and that is being more difficult than I expected.
If you would like more basic info on DNA look at the Nancy Custer site link
at the bottom of my web site, it is very good.
Thanks for your interest, I hope you can get your dad to participate.

Hello Gary,
I am thinking that this might be a different Father's Day gift for the
"hard
to buy for" Dad.
My Cannons are in Baton Rouge, Louisiana...earliest is Andrew Jerome
Cannon
b. 18 May 1809...but I do not know how they got there.
Also someone has posted on Rootsweb that my gggrandfather was the only one
of
his siblings to be born in Scott Co., Missouri: Andrew Bernard Cannon
b.
1840. All of the others before and after were born in Baton Rouge.
Is that very far from your Missouri Cannons and do you have any idea why a
family would move from a longtime home to have a third child and then,
apparently, move back again? This is assuming that the person who posted
this has the correct information. I still have to contact them but have
not
had time.
My first thought was that they may have had family in that area that they
had
moved to be near for some reason.
At any rate, I am interested in doing this but my dad can be a little
funny
about things sometimes so I will have to run it past him first.
Thanks for all of your hard work in setting this up...I will be checking
in
to see how it progresses.
Sincerely,
Debbie Smith
