Hello Tom Pleasure to hear from you. I am trying to connect my Indiana
Ebenezer Cannon Sally J. Prettyman line to the couple other Delaware
Cannon's (like Isaac Cannon) who came west into Indiana about the same time as
one another. I have had very good success considering what I originally had to
start with. This Cannon list is a GREAT HELP! I have been able to connect four
different Cannon lines in the USA, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and
Iowa mostly, and One Cannon line from PEI descendents of King James. lots
of fun. My James Cannon is my hardest retaliative to find his parents and
siblings. James was born in about 1759 Ireland, and arrived in the Colonies
about 1774, Joining the Continental Troops about 1776, And married 1780
to Mary Polly Long in Shermans Valley, Perry, Pennsylvania, They are found
on the 1790 Salem, Westmoreland, Pennsylvania Census with 3 children.
They moved to Turtle Creek, Shelby, Ohio as early as 1795 tax
roles. I just can not seem to get his Military, or Pension Records. I have
even gone through many of the ships manifest books down town and have been
unsuccessful in finding the ship he came on. Which leads me to believe he may
have came with his parents and Family, so he is not listed as they mostly list,
the head of Household, and how many members were traveling with them.
Anyway Ebenezer Cannon born 26 Feb 1811 Sally J. Prettyman came from
Sussex County, Delaware, And it seems that Issac comes from Sussex County,
Delaware, as well and they could be brothers or at least relatives. (I
Hope)
Thank You
Most Grateful

Ed,
Was this Isaac Cannon from the Northwest Fork Hundred of Sussex
County?
What were his children's names?
