Hello Janice (Cannon)
Thank You very much, It is reassuring to know the information
is out there, It is just a matter of patients, time and endurance to follow
through and I know eventually I will receive all those wealth of pages, and in
them I will be able to find the information I need to follow James line back
even further. I spoke in person with a lady who finally received her family
members Pension application Records she said it was over 45
pages worth of valuable information. Unfortunately when she looked for the
address she received hers from, she had lost it. Now she is trying to find it
again.
Thank You
Most Grateful
Don Cannon

pension
Don, when I was in Southern CA I went to the National Archives in (can't
remember the name of the town).....they had all the RW pension files on
film. I
saw the one for another line I am working on and it was orderable thru
them.
Perhaps someone on the list who reads this can provide the exact location
of
the Archives....or try going to the National Archives, I think it is in WA
DC.
The file for this other surname was quite lengthy and you pay by the page,
it
cost well over $50...but contains lots of info. Really makes the
person seem
more real.
best,
Janice (Cannon)
