No, the children of William and Mahala are Toby b abt 1862, Theophelis b abt
1865 and Jacob L. born abt 1872. William was b abt 1840 in Alabama before
his parents John and Catherine moved to Texas. Mahala his wife was born abt
1836 in IL.
There seems to be several John, William and Thomas Cannons in that area.
John and Catherine were both born in Ireland and then lived in Pennsylvania
before heading south thru Louisiana, Alabama and then Texas. Pat

Richard,Thomas Jerrell (Jerry) who is dead. and Phillip Randall
(Randy). And they also have a Daughter named Patsy Malinda (Linda) who
is alive. She named me when i was born. shes my dad's aunt. I finally
finished typing up all the names. So now i am in search of finding
