My first GUESS would be Bourbon Co., but it is only a guess. Her death
certificate didn't say.

Subject: [CANNON] Mary Cannon
-------------------
Mary Cannon was born 1791 in Kentucky, but somehow she was
Pennsylvania
Dutch. This was from a Smyser Family History published in 1939.
According to her death certificate, her father was W. Cannon and her
mother was Sarah Cannon.
She married Mr. _____ Goldsworth and gave birth to James Goldsworth in
1811 in Hamilton County, Ohio. Mr. Goldsworth died in a boat
accident.
On October 8, 1815 she married Phillip Smyser in Clermont County,
Ohio.
(She is listed in the marriage records as Polly Goldsworth)
After her husband died in 1837, she lived with son James and his wife,
also a Mary, in Clermont County, Ohio until her death August 15, 1868.
If she was Pennsylvania Dutch, I'm not so sure the born in Kentucky
fact
is correct.
Does this Mary match any of yours?
