I have viewed the book on this Cannon branch in the Scott County Library in
Georgetown, KY and seen the records in the U.S. Census. Newton Cannon's
home was once on one of the McMillen farms just outside Georgetown, KY.
Not
sure it still is standing. It is an interesting travel exploit to travel
from southern DE in circa 1793-94 to central KY. My family is from the
Northwest Fork Hundred of western Sussex County, DE.
