Our family starts with James E Cannon born about 1828 in VA married Catherine F Woodhouse
born also about 1828 in VA. The two of them were married in Princess Anne County VA. on
Nov 20, 1847. In the 1850 census James had an occupation of a farmer with a real estate

Catherine. By 1860 James and his family were lioving in the London Bridge district of
Princess Ann County VA. With an additional 4 children. Daughter Ella C age 8, daughter
