Hi Paula,
I got this info by bringing up the website of "The Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter Day Saints." They are real big on genealogy. The site is
"http://www.familysearch.org" Click on "Search." When the screen
comes up
asking for info, then I put in the name of Isaac Cannon and 1806 for year.
Country= United States, State=Tenn. It should be the 2nd name that comes up.
When that comes up, on the right you will see "family" Click on the word
"family." That will bring up your info.
I don't know if you can talk to the person that posted it, or not, but
go back to the page "Search" Near the top of the screen where you see
"feedback," Click on that, and I think you can get in and talk to someone at
the
site. I'm not sure how that works. Just feel your way along. You won't make a
mistake that can't be corrected, I don't think.
Hope that helps. Good Luck!!!! If I can be of more assistance, let
me know.
If you run into a James Cannon from WV, born about 1834, married a
Catherine Van Horn, I would appriciate any info you have. He is the one I am
looking for. He was my paternal Great Grandfather. And I am hung up there.
I can't find his parents or where they were from. Those ancestors do have
a way of hiding, don't they? Gladys
