Jerry, I cannot help you, but I am interested in your name and location -
there is a similarity in my ancestor's name. I am searching for descendants
of Jeremiah Walker Cannon who was a Civil War torpedo boat pilot in
Charleston, SC. Some of his sons moved to Savannah, GA. Jeremiah was
sometimes called Jerry or Walker. He was born in SC about 1822 and died in
1881, his sons were Jeremiah Jr., George M. and Daniel Wood Cannon.
Do you connect with this family?
Thanks, Lucy Stewart

Subject: [CANNON] NATHAN THOMAS ( TOM )
Hello all,
I am still searching for information about my G-G Grandfather.
He lived in Hickman County Kentucky up until 1861 when he
left for Camp Boone Tn, to enlist in the Confederate Army.
I have some old family papers that state he was born in Arlington
City, Hickman County Kentucky in 1842. However, Arlington is
in Carlies county and I don't think it was formed out of a different
county in the late 1800's.
I was told that my CANNON ancestor lived with the BUGG family
as a minor and appears in the the 1860 census in Hickman county.
Can anyone help as to where my CANNON is from?
Sincerely,
W. Jerry Cannon
Snellville, Ga.
