Description
Signer of the Declaration of Independence. DS, one page, 12.5 x 8, November 4, 1801. A
bench warrant summoning Arthur Markum and Hannah Cannon to appear before the Justice of
the Peace 'for Adultery and Fornication...to be dealt with as the law directs.' In
very good condition with pinholes along the folds, several larger holes slightly affecting
the text and moderate overall uneven toning.
