to AL with her husband and children between 1847-1850. Can't find her
husband's family either. Census records show that she is from TN but I
have no idea
what county; census records have his birth in VA.
Please check your records and see if you can find her in your tree - or

you have a Nancy born about this time that you haven't been able to
trace.

Nancy CANON/CANNON, b. about 1810-1818 in TN, d. 28 Apr 1881 Morgan Co.,
AL;
married Joseph CARTER on 27 Sep 1832 probably in TN. He was born about
1809
in VA and died 16 Apr 1878 Morgan Co., AL.
Children, all born in TN:
Aramus Calaway, b. 28 Jun 1834, d. Civil War 1865
Mary Ann, b. 2 Dec 1835, d. 1902 AL
Josephine Bonaparte, b. 25 Oct 1837, d. 1888 AL
Sarah Amanda, b. 12 Apr 1840,. d. before 1850
Richard, 24 Sep 1841, d. Civil War 1862
William, b. 6 Dec 1843
Edmund, b. 30 Jan 1847, d. 1921 AL
She was listed on the census in Morgan Co., AL 1850-1880. Although she
and
Joseph married in 1832, I have not yet located them on the 1840 census in
TN
or AL.
