As a long time genealogist, I know the great work thatmembers of the web-rings provide to

My purpose is not absolute genealogy this time, but to tryand find living family members
of an honorable service man whose name appearson the Vietnam Wall.
This man gave his all during that war – and he belonged tomy artillery unit.
After 40 some years of no contact with any other veterans inthis unit, and with the help
of the computers, some of us have now connected, and are banding together to get a group
reconnected, and have annualreunions.
This past year was our 4th get together, goingfrom 17 men to 70. At each and every
reunion, we have held a memorial serviceto honor our 13 service brothers who did not
return home. Their names are all on the Vietnam Wall. One service was at the Wall itself
in Washington DC.,and another at the Citadel in Charleston, SC. I have tried for these
past 4 years to find afamily member, or someone who knew of them, so that they might
attend one ofour memorial services in their honor. I’ve tried every avenue I know of to do
this, and have not found onesingle relative. I know if it was me –being a genealogist –
I’d want to know that my family member was beingremembered for their short life &
ultimate sacrifice if I could.
So I am asking if anyone can connect to the veteran whosename follows, and if so, to
contact me with information that might lead tocontacting a relative of his, and I thank
you – especially on this weekend of“Veterans Day”. This is the informationyou will find
on the Vietnam Wall about him:
