Subject: Re: [CANNON] Waitman Cannon
Tom and Katherine,
Henry and Francis Cannon are my ggggg grandparents. I, too, am interested
in finding records of the Revolutionary War. Is the book listed available
on line? I am curios as to where you found it.
Thanks,
Virginia Cannon Clay

You have to love Googlebooks.
I finally found the above Cannon, son of Henry and Francis (Newton) Cannon
in "Revolutionary Patriots of Worcester and Somersett 1775 to 1783" by Henry
C. Peden. Waitman was a private, third class in the Worcester Militia,
Sinapuxent Bn, Capt John Coe's Company. Also found Minos Cannon in the same
book.
My question now is, where can I find more information. How old was he when
he enlisted, was he married, etc. I have tried some Revolutionary sites,
Worcester, MD Genweb and Footnote, but came up empty. If anyone has
suggestions, I would be most grateful.
