Subject: [CANNING:] Cannings
I am searching for the Church Of England CANNINGS primarily of
Warwickshire England from 1700 to present day. Some of these CANNINGS went
to St. Johns Newfoundland about 1823 (and some of those became RC). Some
remain there today. Some went to Australia, but that CANNING line
daughtered out, and spread out to NZ also.
To follow through on what the Canning web master said: I live in the
extreme northern part of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in California where the
deer, mt.lion, bear, fox, coyote, bob cat etc etc roam. Few people and
that's the way we like it 1/2 miles to nearest neighbor, 30 miles to
"up-town" shopping. Snow, tall tall trees, clean clear creeks, streams &
rivers. I am retired, spent the last 22 years doing research for two books
on my English families (Canning & Wright,)
Keep looking
Betty
