THIS IS EXCITING! We now have a total of 5 results. See:

DUTCH LINE?
There's a 12/12 match for P2 and P1 (this was hoped for by P1). This establishes a
"signature" for a line (an upgrade to 25 by P 2 would really clinch the
signature). P 1 believes this is probably a "Dutch" line. Don't know what P
2 thinks.
SALEM, MASS. LINE
The KINNE line in Florence Keeney Robertson's book. Is it T 2 or H 1?????
T 2 and H 1 did not match! Based on their ancestry information we expected a match. This
may be due to faulty research: one of them may belong to another Kinney line . A careful
review of their documentation (I don't have that) might indicate that one of them
belongs to a different Kinney/etc. line. Until we get another "Sir"
Thomas/John/Henry-Alexander participant who matches T 2 or H 1 - we can not declare
either result as the "signature" for that line.
IF YOU THINK THIS IS YOUR LINE CONSIDER TESTING if you are a male carrying the surname,
no known adoptions, etc. It would help MANY researchers to have a DNA signature for this
line (two or more matching tests and documented research). The reason it would help is
that many people think/hope this is their line (probably because of the book). If money
is problem, send me a private email (may be able to find a private donations from
descendants who can't test; female descendants for example - but they would want to
see your documentation).
UNEXPECTED MATCH!
H 1 and G 1 matched 11/12. This is a thrill and a big surprise to G 1 (my father).
But my line is so short I can't shed any light on the T 2 vs. H 1 issue. I'm
hoping H 1 will upgrade to 25 markers. That won't clear up the Salem line problem but
it will help clinch the signature line for our MRCA (most recent common ancestor).
LEAP OFF THAT FENCE!
Many of you have corresponded with me privately and have been sitting on the fence about
testing. Please consider hopping off the fence and joining the project.

P.S. There is a big windstorm on Oahu and power lines are dropping like pick-up-sticks.
If you contact me and don't hear back soon, that's why.
