I have managed to trace my husbands family of CANNELL's back to a marriage
between a Thomas CANNELL and Emma CARRAN on
30 March 1861 at Kirk Bradden,Isle of Man. Thomas gives his father's name
as Thomas, occupation shoemaker. Unfortunately I haven't yet been able to
find anything out about Thomas senior or a definite birth/bapt. for Thomas
junior. Thomas and Emma had settled in Liverpool by the time of the 1871
Census. If these names appear on anybodys family tree and they have
information going further back than 1861 on the Isle of Man I would love to
hear from them.

I would love a copy of the list. My grandmother was a
Quesnelle/Canell/Cannell, etc etc etc. She was born in Michigan/Bay City
area in the late 1890's. Anything you might have would really be
appreciated. Maybe I'll find something too.
Thanks so much - I really appreciate it.
