I want to thank you for sharing this with us, but I would also like to offer a suggestion
if I may. A major line of the Cann surname originated in Yarmouth County, Nova Scotia,
and a great many of the other surnames below sound very familiar to me for that reason. I
am List Admin for this list as well as Yarmouth County, and you may want to post this
information there as well, that is certainly up to you. Or better yet, post the
information to the message board and let the gateway post it automatically to the list as
well.
