Elizabeth: Is there a Charles Cann in the Deleware line? He
had a brother, Abraham, who was born in 1726 in Bristol. My
understanding is that Abraham had Charles raise Abraham's son
John (who fought in the Revolution in New Jersey) when his wife
died. According to a genealogical researcher my Ggrandfather
hired, Charles was (her words) the beginning of the Deleware
line of Canns. It would be great if I could trace his line.

Surname: Cann
-------------------------
Our line of the Cann family came from Bristol, England (Rev.
John Cann
b. 1595). Coming to the American Colonies, settling in the
Deleware area.
My 4th gr. grandfather was William Cann (b. 1754 Cecil Co.,
Maryland, d.
11-7-1839 Hart Co. KY.) After the war he moved into KY
utilizing the land
warrants.
I had surgery on my hand today, so it is slow typing. Does
any of this
sound familiar? My e-mail is lizzbarr(a)arctic.net. Look
forward
to hearing
from you.
