David: how generous of you! I have never found a death or burial placve
for my great grandfather Warren Augustus Cann. He B: 1832-1835 in Yarmouth.
M: Lydia Anne Raymond 1857 Yarmouth
His father was Alden Cann B:1811 M: Maria Shaw 1836-36
Alden's fahter was Hugh English (Capt) CANN who married Eliz. Porter.
Canns originated in Beverly MA and at some time Warren came with wife and
children to Salem MA. During that time he left her and eventually she and
some of the children went first to live with her sister in Lynn (name unknown)
and then back to NS where she died and is buried.
Warren was a carpenter and a sometime seaman. I wonder if he returned to
the sea and was lost somewhere. Don't know.
If by chance you have a little time I will be most grateful and if there is
any charge for any records you might find, I will be happy to forward the
cost to you.
Good hunting, and thanks again.
