Thanks, but I wasn't the one looking for Thomas -- I was replying to the
former email (see below). I realize that a great contingency of Canfield's
were in Arlington, because I keep running into while searching my Canfield
line who were mainly in the Manchester (Bennington Co.) area. They are
descendants of the Matthew Camfield line.
However, since I have you on the line I'm curious 1) If you know of any
Canfields from Matthew's side OR from the Manchester that were living in
Arlington or related? Also, 2) Do you know of my 4th gg parents Silas &
Judith (Graham) Canfield who lived in Manchester or any of their children
Hezekiah Graham, Ira, Silas, Zenus, Elisha, Orsemus, Thaddeus.
Specifically Ira (3rd gg) who is verrrrry illusive. I'm just trying to find
more info on this family. Thank you again for your kind response. Sandy
Childs

Regarding the Thomas Canfield refereed to below, who was a director of the
Northern Pacific Railway. I hope it will be of assistance to you to know
that he was born in Arlington, Vermont, the birthplace of a large
contingent
of Canfields.
