No, none of the family members has any more info.. He never had a SS #, and
no we have no idea what the names are in his family. We are only guessing
at the names by the way he named his children.. IF he named them the way the
English procedure of naming the family is. PJ

PJ:
If you have a death certificate with you, his name and birthdate should be
correct. Please leave it because you have a death certificate-evidence for
now. Sometimes, death certificate show errors as I have. I have over 50
different certificates in USA. It is very rare that birthdate or spelled
wrong on internet and death certificate. If you have his social security
number on death certificate, you have big luck! If you have his parents
fully, you have big luck, also!!! Please do not give it up easily unless
you
find his sisters... Do you have his sisters' names available?
What about George's marriage certificate? What about searching his
cemetery
records at office? Maybe, they can give you clue. What about census
where
he lived for many years? What about census in Michigan? Maybe,
George
was
born there. Why don't you try for birth certficate in Macon,
Michigan?
Try
search between 1890 to 1900. Write down exactly birthdate on form,
just
in
case. Macon is in Lenawee Co. It is available since1867 to present.
Try
that one first then other. I did search different places a lot and
found
records. I did request on different counties in all Michigan on my great
grandfather Otto Lindroos, but it is nothing found. So, I did next to
Minnesota where Miners used to work. I found it for that specific
location
and he died there by accident. His surname spelled wrong(Lindrof).
It is
correctly LINDROOS FROM FINNISH DOCUMENTS. Hope it helps you more ideas
how
to find your ancestor. Please do not give it up until you finish!!!!
Please
feel free to ask for help. I would be there for you. I am behind
you.
However, SSN developed after around 1930 slowly, but it grew quickly after
1960's.
If my ideas will pop new, I will e mail you quickly. Ha ha ha. ;-)
Happy New Year and Relax-not too worry about George too much. Ha. You
will
find it because his birthdate is not really late. You will have
great
OPPORTUNITY.
I need information about his siblings' names/dates if available.
I got one of my great grandmother Jennie's sister Mary for death
certificate
from San Jose because I didn't have her parents' names,
either on Jennie's
death certificate. Finally, I got it by luck! Now, I know her parents'
names: Antone Silva and Amelia(leave blank surname) on Mary's death
certificate. It is close enough. She had only two sister. One died
young
in SF. No available but another sister died in San Jose. I was
hoping to
have info. from her. Whew!
Hope it helps ever more.
Happy New Year, again!
