What a cute statement. I never wear hat for long time.
Thanks for tips. I will take pictures of flat stones under the tree.
Also, I will take pictures inside of hallway for Lottie C. White nee Canfield!
There is abt eight ancestors to be picture taken. Several of them are buried together
under the tree.
Two are in hallway(tombs). I will ask staff go with me. I don't like to go there
alone because it is very long walk inside the hallway--easily get lost! Abt five minutes
to walk for arriving the tome of Lottie and Lorin...
One of another ancestor is in different area. I will ask the staff show me where it is.
This is my grandfather's brother and his wife. They are sons of Lottie C. White nee
Canfield.
Thought it might be interesting to you.
Keep good work.
Adrienne

Marge: Thank you for responding. So nice to see how many Canfield
researchers are helping each other. Yes, I have been in contact with Gene
Kincaid -- even talked to each other by telephone and he's in Australia!
We
find that we are both in about the same place -- only he is luckier
because
Hezekiah Graham and family had loads of info written on them vs my
Ira
having almost nothing. (I did find him in 1820 & 1840 census for Chemung
Co., NY and later the letter in 1846 where he then lived. But other than
that, Nada!
Again, I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your contacting me. Even
though this time I already had the info, it is tips like this that break
through those brick walls. Take good care. Sandy Childs
