Rita: After your first note, I went to my files and see that I had copied a
couple of pages of the book you are talking about (I don't remember what or
why of it). However, the page or two I do have does list my Ira as son of
Silas and also lists Ira's children. I think I will order the book from
Higginson's books to see what else it may have -- thanks for expanding my
thinking. Sandy

Hi, Sandy,
What impressed me when I got this book was that is overlapped what I had
received from a cousin by 2 generations. I have obtained some original
records from Osage and Wilson Counties in Kansas, because I wanted to
verify
that the information is correct. So far, so good. The book does
seem to
be
well researched and written. I like the format also. He has all
the
Canfields/Camfields/Campfields in alphabetical order by first name, and
all
the other names in alphabetical order by last name, plus some 28
charts in
the back and everything cross-referenced. Also, hopefully, one day this
summer I want to go to the NJ Historical Society in Newark, NJ and check
out
their library.
Rita
