Cool!
It can be but let see what you find info. through records. Indian records
are difficult to find but hope you can with sisu(persist in Finnish). I have
Portuguese and Finnish blood. My mother's black hair turned very little
grey, too. Her hair has not been become grey completely for long time. She
is 67. I have several grey hairs at my early age nearly forty. Where did it
come from? ha.
Take Good Care, Sandy.

Does anyone have any information about Canfield family marrying women of Indian extraction?
My great-grandmother's Canfield line (Matthew, Samuel, Ebenezer, Timothy, Silas, Ira, Orsemus, Alice) has been in America since 1640. I have a picture of her and her brothers and sisters (circa 1860-70) which indicate that one sister and brother are very light eyed & complected while another sister and my great-grandmother (Alice/Allis) are very dark complected with dark (almost black) eyes and black hair.
After marrying a fair-eyed and complected man, all of Alice's children including my grandfather have this black hair, black eyed legacy. Also, from what I hear most did not turn gray until late 70's and then only a little, which my hair dresser tells me is a unique trait. (I have brown hair at age 60 and very, very little gray hair (yea!). Anyway It makes me wonder whether there may be some indian blood in her or her ancestors. Has anyone confirmed Canfields marrying Indian women? Sandy
Can anyone tell me the main web page for Canfield family or the
headquarter's address which used to be in Wichita, Kansas. Looking for a
Canfield Denning born around 1810-1820 in New York, New Jersey, or maybe
Canada. Dee
