Ron -- I just sent a message to you and PJ Canfield via this Canfield email
group. All indications point to your Minor being a nephew to my gg
grandfather Ira Canfield who is brother to Hezekiah Graham Canfield. Their
parents were Silas & Judith (Graham) Canfield of CT,VT and ?
Yes, my Ira and wife Melissie Newman are verrrrrry illusive and it may be
that this name is a nickname or middle name, but I have letter from him
dated 1846 in Indiana which includes description of whereabouts of some of
the family members.
If you can, please contact me off-line at jschilds(a)pacbell.net. Sandy

Hello, I am also researching a Canfield Line.... would you please tell me
Ron, "where" these Canfield's (Minor's family) were buried? and where they
were originally from (birth place)?
Would the person with initials AB be a World War 1 registrant from
Idaho.. If so I have another name to throw at you that I had found last
night ....first name Amoriah Bredner (Chief) Born Nov 1, 1875. Just in
case you needed that one...the name itself stands out in a crowd of
Canfield's..
