Hi, everyone:
With a little activity popping up on the list, this is a good time to remind folks that
when you see a message containing something like this:
>Message Board URL:
>
>http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/kYH.2ACIB/74
>
>Message Board Post:
the author will NOT see your reply unless you use the link and post the reply to the
Message Board. On RootsWeb, many people who are not subscribed to a mailing list may post
a message to the related Board. If you post your reply to the LIST (via e-mail) *only* the
list members will see it. On the other hand, if you post a reply to the BOARD (via a Web
browser) then both visitors to the board *and* mailing list members will see it. This
means that not only is it not *necessary* to post both ways, but one simply *should not*
do it -- it will create duplicates on the mailing list.
