Thomas Canby married Sarah Jarvis in 1693. Sarah died in 1707

Thomas Canby married Mary Oliver in 1709

Thomas and Mary did not name any children Phebe.

Yes, please. I have an ancestor Phebe Canby (1699-1774), but there appears
to be some questions about who her mother was. Her father was Thomas Canby
(1667-1742), but I have a Sarah Jarvis (1668-1707) but others have Mary
Oliver (1677-1721). Can you see if you can clear it up?

several times, his first wife's name is unknown, and it is
thought his
second wife's name was Mary who's maiden name might have been Prather,
