I didn't realize there were three different lists! I certainly hope they are
combined, because I have also found it all three ways, and also Kennedy, Kinaday, and
Kenady and other assorted spellings!
Linda - researching a Canady line starting as Kennedy in Kentucky (for the moment) and
changing to Canady in Iowa

Hi Pam,
I just joined all three Canady/Canada/Canaday lists. It seems that these
names are various spellings of the same name. I have seen all three used in
documents about the same family. I have even seen Kenneday/Kennedy used in
our line too. I guess the writers just spelled the name the way they heard
it as most folks couldn't spell?
I am wandering if anyone has suggested combining the name into one rootsweb
list? It would make it easier for us to write only to one list and read
from less lists. I have about ten Rootsweb lists I am monitoring right now.
BTW, are you the list owner for all three lists?
My Henson-L list has about six different spellings and My Payne-L has four
and only one list to write to.
Just wandering and thanks for listening.
Thanks,
David S. Payne
