If you have done DNA thru Ancestry, 23&Me or FT DNA you can download your raw data and
then upload it to
GEDmatch.com. Not sure but it could be helpful to all of you looking
for another way to sort out who belongs to what line. GEDmatch is free for most of their
services. It doesn't give you names of your ancestors but breaks your DNA down by
chromosomes. It is definitely a learning curve for most of us including myself. Also you
can upload a gedcom file from any genealogy program as long as it is a .ged file. I have
done my DNA thru ancestry and have been able to find some new limbs for my tree by using
this web site. What I have mentioned here is only a few of the things that you can do.
They Jane a 3d chromosome browser that's really neat thing to see. But anyway I just
thought that I would pass this along.
