Miriam, the baby is going to be called Max. Lil said yesterday
William was talking to the baby telling it that he was its uncle and
that he would teach him lots of things. They seem to be very happy,
but I'm still glad Howard didn't know about the pregnancy. I think he
would have been very hurt. Pass the word on to David, please. Mom

Subject: [CANADAY] Cannady family in Kentucky
Hello,
I'm a new list member and thought I would put up the line I'm
searching
for. I have traced my husband's family, thanks to the help of a
few
people,
back to Nelson/Spencer County, Kentucky area. His GGG Grandfather was
a
Daniel CANADAY who married Celia HELM in Shelby County in 1822. They
had 7
children. Daniel died sometime after 1840 but before the census in
1850. I
have very little information on Daniel and would like to know who is
parents were and where they all came from. I am, also searching for
more
information on their children, especially their son, Daniel, and
another
son John Thomas CANADAY. Thomas is my husband's GG Grandfather.
The
name
seems to have changed with Thomas's children, in particular, James
Levi
CANNADY.
Thanks.
Pat Cannady
