Pat, my Cannadays don't seem to connect with yours, but I'll keep your
names on file. I've worked on the Cannadays for years and years and
still can't get past my William and Nancy back in the 1780's in
Virginia. Billie in Florida

Subject: [CANADAY] Cannady family in Kentucky
Hello,
I'm a new list member and thought I would put up the line I'm
searching
for. I have traced my husband's family, thanks to the help of a
few
people,
back to Nelson/Spencer County, Kentucky area. His GGG Grandfather was
a
Daniel CANADAY who married Celia HELM in Shelby County in 1822. They
had 7
children. Daniel died sometime after 1840 but before the census in
1850. I
have very little information on Daniel and would like to know who is
parents were and where they all came from. I am, also searching for
more
information on their children, especially their son, Daniel, and
another
son John Thomas CANADAY. Thomas is my husband's GG Grandfather.
The
name
seems to have changed with Thomas's children, in particular, James
Levi
CANNADY.
Thanks.
Pat Cannady
