I have not seen one by that exact title and have been researching the
Cannadys for many years. I published four different books that included
chapters about the Cannadys since I descend from William and Nancy of the
middle 1700s and that is as far back as I can go; however, I have a pic. of
their house and some tombstones etc. in Va.
There was a book call CANNADY FAMILY, written by a member of the LDS who
lived in St. Petersburg, Frieda Clark Cannady. Her husband had been a
Cannady but changed his name to Clark for some reason. The last time I
talked to her she had no more books and was going on a mission for her
church. No one seems to be able to get her to respond; however, I know
some of the Virginia libraries will have all of our books on their shelves.
I am not sure that it is the same book that you are referring to because I
have not seen one of that exact title. My books which include the Cannady
chapters are, ACROSS THE BLUE RIDGE, SOME EARLY BLUE RIDGE SETTLERS,
ANCESTORS ALONG THE JAMES RIVER, SOUTHERN UNDERWOODS & MARTINS (which just
came to me from the publisher). Sorry I can't be more defininitive. Billie

Does anyone know if there is a copy of the "Cannaday Family of
Virginia
and West Virginia" for sale? Have been trying for so long to purchase
a
copy.
