Looking for Drummond who ancestors were travellers in and around
central Scotland in the early c20. He made a visit to the UK,
in the 1950's and made contact with his "cousins" my father George
Drummond and his elder sister Mary Drummond. They went to Auchterarder to
pay a
visit to family that were "still on the road".
My eldest brother Sandy (Alexander) went with them but only remembers
sketchy details (as Above). Family Tradition is that the eldest sons are
named Alexander, this probably was maintained
by mystery "cousin". If you seem to have Alexander as the
eldest son
names or if the story rings any bells in your family please mail
me at jim(a)drummond2k.fsnet.co.uk. Only wish is to establish missing
link - willing to pass all info I have.
Gang Warrily
Best Regards
Jim Drummond
