Gary,
Thank you for the descendant list of Richard and Anne Cantwell Campion. I'll keep it
close by as I do my research and see if there is any connections in our families. I'm
sure that when John Campion (my ggrandfather) brought his family to New York from Ireland
that either other sibilings came with him or before him or after him. I haven't made
that connection.
I don't know if they lived in PA on their way to IN as there is a gap of six years
between Patrick being born in NY in 1853 and his sister,Mary, being born in Indiana in
1859. I do have another line, Fetherling, that I have traced back to Washington County PA
in 1805; however, I haven't been able to go back further.

Julia,
I will send a email offline with some details to see if there are any common
names/families that you see in your line.
My first mail was responding to a posting in 2002 regarding the Richard and
wife Ann Cantwell.
Do some of your people come through Pennsylvania?
Please advise.
Gary

Gary,
I'm not sure that your email to me was directed correctly as it begins
"Maryanne." That's okay, my name is Julia, and I do have Campions in my
line; however, they only go back to 1851 with Elizabeth A. Campion being
born in New York. Prior to that date, I do know that they came from Ireland
as John Campion was born in 1849 in Ireland. I've not done a lot of
research to determine where they originated in Ireland. If I do find any
connecting information, I'll be happy to pass that information along to you.
About mid-August, my husband and I are planning a trip to the Indiana State
Archives, Logansport, and Marion. If you have any research needs in those
areas, I wil be happy to add them to my research as well.
