Gary,
I'm not sure that your email to me was directed correctly as it begins
"Maryanne." That's okay, my name is Julia, and I do have Campions in my
line; however, they only go back to 1851 with Elizabeth A. Campion being born in New York.
Prior to that date, I do know that they came from Ireland as John Campion was born in
1849 in Ireland. I've not done a lot of research to determine where they originated
in Ireland. If I do find any connecting information, I'll be happy to pass that
information along to you.
About mid-August, my husband and I are planning a trip to the Indiana State Archives,
Logansport, and Marion. If you have any research needs in those areas, I wil be happy to
add them to my research as well.
Julia

Maryanne,
I hope this posting finds you well.
We have been researching our Cantwell lines. I am descended from Edward
and Mary Curran Cantwell. We suspect that their daughter, Ann, b abt. 1829,
Castlecomer/Clogh area, Co Kilkenny, Ireland married Richard Campion in
Schuylkill County. Her supposed parents and family immigrated to Schuylkill
County, Pennsylvania.
We are interested in any information that you may have regarding your Ann's
parents, hoping you can confirm or deny a connection. We have also been
assembling related Schuylkill County Campion/Ryan/O'Brien lines with this
suspicion.
I would be interested in trading information on any other
Cantwell/Curran/Campion lines in Schuylkill County
Please advise.
Gary
