While researching my own Campbells in the book "Dictionary of Scottish
Emigrants to the U.S.A" by Donald Whyte, I came across quite a few other
Campbells not my own who had also emigrated so I made photocopies of the
pages and will be posting them in blocks of about 20 over the next 8-10 days.
Hopefully they will help someone. Some of the entries contain ship names,
most do not. Some of the info mentioned is from events that happened after
they arrived in the US taken from various sources by the author.
I have no further information on any of these entries EXCEPT explanations of
the sources given at the end of each entry. If anyone wants to know from what
source a particular entry came from, please email me off list at
Free2beJudi(a)cs.com and refer to the entry by the number listed at the end of
the entry.
PLEASE NOTE: IF ANYONE MISSES ONE OF THE INSTALLMENTS OF THIS POSTING THAT I
AM MAKING JUST WRITE ME AT THE ABOVE ADDRESS AND I WILL BE GLAD TO SEND IT
TO YOU OFF LIST (Capitals added for emphasis not to symbolize yelling)
