There was an Archibald Algernon Campbell in Cumberland, NC about that time.
He was the son of a Colin Campbell. Seems to me I remember that this
Archibald was a physician. I have it written down somewhere if this will
help. I found the information because I was looking for a Colin Campbell
with a son Archibald at about the same time in Virginia (where this one
originated) and I needed to prove to myself that it was the wrong one for
me. But I did keep much of the information for times like this when I
forget.
Let me know.
