Hi Marvin, my sole clue is William M. Campbell,b, 1850, IL. , he says his
father was from PA. and his Mother was from N.C. All this is taken from the
1880 census, Boone Co. KY.
He's there with his wife and family.
I have read all the available census records, and found him living with his
daughter,Maggie Mae Tischer, in Dayton OH., 1900 census, and he still says
where his parents are from. No Wavering there at all. So why can't I connect
with a member of his family?
I do wish you all the best in your search.
Thanks!
Katie

Katie,
Who were your Campbell's from KY and IL?? I'm looking for Cyrus Campbell
b.
1812 in Campbell county, KY, married 1834, Campbell county, KY then
moved
to
Douglas/Clark county, IL. Also researching Catharine Campbell b.
1800,
place
unknown as I have 3 census' which say 3 different places.
Catharine
married
1819 in Vigo county, IN and after 1850, moved to Douglas/Clark
county, IL.
This has been my brick wall for years.
