Hi Ed.
I am having a "gotta have my head examined" day. I tried a look for your
HW Campbell. In the 1850 Jackson Tennessee District 13 census LAST page
is a Henry W Campbell. I figured the best bet for an H would be Henry,
so I did an
ancestry.com search for Henry W Campbell... I WAS going
through all the Campbells in Tenn... 722 of them <grin> and I may finish
that... I was about 1/4 the way through when I got bored and tried Henry
W. ANYHOO...I went to
Gen.com to see the images for the 1850, and a
Henry is here. Here is the meltdown:
Henry W. age: 28 Farmer, born Tenn. Worth $130.00
Catharine. age: 26, born North Carolina
Elizabeth. age: 5
Phama (sorry, that one is a "MAYBE that's what it says") female, age: 1
Both girls were born Tenn. If you like this one and want a print screen
(would be a HUGE attachment) email me. You can try the 1860 to see if
they stayed. I know the name Catharine doesn't fit, but often people
used second names, so I wouldn't discount this one. Also, don't discount
"William Henry" er something like that... sometimes there were reverses
of initials.

Sarah who was born Sep 17, 1823.
Their daughter Elizabeth E. Campbell born Jan 27, 1845 someplace in TN and
died Feb 14, 1919 in Richview, Washington Co., IL and married an unknown
Reeves.
Elizabeth and unknown Reeves had at least two children - Luther Seth and
Abbie.
Anyone know these Campbells? Please??? I know they are out there - hiding,
but out there.
