Daryl,
There is a rare book on the Campbells of Drumaboden in Northern Ireland,
you
might find a copy on inter-library loan or in the genealogical dept
of the
Knoxville library since I believe that their descendants still live in
Tennessee. There were articles on the family in the CCS(NA) quarterly
'Journal' some years ago.
The early part of the 'history' about Inveraray etc. appears to be a 19th
century fake, but once the family were at Drumaboden and from there on it
seems to be genuine. See also archives on this list about Campbells of
Southwest Virginia for sorting out the myths about "Duncan Campbell & Mary
McCoy". Even better, if you want to know more about the Drumaboden
descent,
try writing (by paper mail) with the earliest sources for your own
information to the Genealogist for the Clan Campbell Society (North
America) - the CCS(NA):
Dr. Ruby G. Campbell PhD - 3310 Fairway Drive - Baton Rouge LA 70809 USA
with a self-addressed stamped envelope and a donation to cover
stationary/copying etc.
