Hi all. I have decided to put the information that was given to
be by another researcher showing the documentation for some NJ
Campbell's (most information from Rutger's Univ Library). I
will
state if a will, etc. ( I will also post the meanings of the
initials included in source (at end of each record). (The list of
abbv. will be at the end of the last note)
Part 3.
Hope these records are of use to someone. Again, they are not my husbands
known ancestors. I once thought there might be a connection due to the
names involved, but have not found any actual documentation to prove a
connection. In a separate post, I will again post information on Ellis
Campbell b 1804 in VA and the similarities in naming patterns that I once
thought were promising. I just dont think similar names are a sound enough

29 Apr 1720. Affidavit of John Campbell of Piscatua, Midx, Co, yeoman, age
about 58 years. That in 1686 he was coming down Rariton River with several
servants belonging to Lord Neil Campbell going to Woodbridge meeting, there
being no way he knew but thru the Inclosures of Mr John White, decd, they
