One can always hope. I got a whole bunch of pictures and such from a cousin of mine a
couple summers ago. Interestingly enough my Grandpa Campbell seemed more inclined to
identify the folks on the back of his family pics than my Grandma did on the pics of her
family. Anyhow cousin just happened to mention how she'd gotten rid of the various
marriage, death and birth announcements my Grandparents had kept :o I'm pretty sure
she didn't mean anything by it, just didn't think, and I was too grateful for the
pics to say anything but dang!

Summary: In the early 1800's John Campbell arrived in Jackson County
from Virginia where he was born in about 1779. On May 17, 1819 he married
Aney
Webster in Madison country in the Alabama Territory and moved to
Tennessee
shortly thereafter. They then moved back to Alabama and we find them in
Madison and Jackson county. We do not know for sure what county they were
in,
while living in Tenn. but there is a strong indication that they were
going
back and forth between Madison and Jackson counties in Ala. and Lincoln
and Franklin counties in Tenn. John and Aney had 8 children
