Susan,
If you are in Canada or the USA, the Genealogist for the Clan Campbell
Society (North America) can advise on Scottish research and possibly
research the society archives (a small doantion for copying and stationary
is suggested - plus an stamped and self addressed envelope). Write by
surface mail to: Dr. Ruby Campbell PhD, 3310 Fairway Drive, Baton Rouge LA
70809 USA. She has copies of all the published transcripts of Argyll
records for Campbells.
If you live elsewhere, look on Rootsweb you may see advertisements for
Britishancestry research. They can employ a Scottish researcher to look
into the sources there. Pay by credit card via Paypal.

Subject: [CAMPBELL] Hugh Campbell- scotland 1685
I am looking for information on Hugh Campbell, born abt 1685 in ,
Argyllshire, Scotland. He married unknown.
Children of Hugh Campbell were as follows:
David Campbell, born 11 Jul 1711 in , Argyllshire, Scotland; died 1769;
buried in Old Blandford Cemetery, Blandford, Hampden, Mass. He married
Janet (Robertson) Campbell.
Does anyone have information on these 2 Campbells? Or can someone tell me
how to get information on them.
