I was playing on Ancestry today... and decided to extend my search for Jim
Campbell b 1866 in MO who was last heard of on 1900 census in Ouchita county
ARK... and found him & his brood in Polk county TEXAS on the 1910 census...
still checking...

Checked the 1920 & 1930 census.. they were in Polk county in 1920, and San
Jacinto county Texas in 1930. Both are buried at Forest Hills cemetery in
Livingston Texas (Polk county). The census records have at least Jim's
parent's birthplaces wrong... so if you have a Jim & Mattie who went from MO
to ARK to TX... let me know...we may connect.... Jim's parents were listed
as from Alabama on one census.. Georgia on another.. Jim's dad (James
Mehlander Campbell b 1835 in AL (Jackson County per military records) and
mom Nancy Ann Welborn b TN or MO... have to check that for certain.
