Subject: [CAMPBELL] second hand kilt jackets
I'm looking for a source or sources of cheaper than dirt second
hand kilt
jackets. I'm trying to outfit a young man in a reasonably priced formal
Highland outfit. So far, we have the kilt, hose, sporran, flashes, formal
shirt, bow tie, sgian dubh, etc. Now he needs the jacket. I'm toying with
the idea of haunting the second hand clothing stores in hopes of finding
an old black tux or the like that we could cut off and tailor into a kilt
jacket. We are looking for a men's size 40 or 42.
Can anyone point me in the right direction. Ebay is a bust, and I am
beginning to exhaust my abilities on Internet searching. Please respond
off list. atheling(a)cox.net
Thanks!
